Deeply rooted in local education: Illuminating the future of students in remote areas
Finetek Technology's Yilan plant is located in the Lize Industrial Park, Su'ao Township, Yilan County. As a local manufacturer in the Yilan Science Park, Finetek has long been committed to local community development and educational equity. In 2025, coinciding with the 110th anniversary of Sijie Elementary School in Yilan County, the company, upholding the corporate citizenship spirit of "giving back to society," donated NT$850,000 to celebrate the anniversary. The foundation will also provide 10 staff members to support related activities, demonstrating substantial support for grassroots education.
The funds will be prioritized for the anniversary celebrations, including a "Colorful Nostalgic Market," a "Healthy Run," and an "Anniversary Celebration," fostering unity among teachers, students, parents, and alumni, and witnessing cultural heritage moments such as the unveiling of the renovated school history room, deepening the emotional connection between the school and the community. After the event, both parties reached a consensus to transfer all remaining funds to a long-term education fund, which will be used exclusively to help underprivileged students and support diverse student activities, in order to implement SDGs 4 Quality Education and SDGs 10 Eliminating Inequality, with the aim of creating a safe and enriching learning environment for students in rural areas.
